I just want to reach out to you and tell you that if you want to get more business, you’ve got to make sure you’re doing everything right in your business, your database, and your clinic.
First, there’s no point in paying money to get more people coming in if we’re just letting them go by not doing the right things by them. Follow up with them when we need to, automate whatever processes we can, and reward people when we need to.
If you’re not doing all of those things, stop marketing your business and work on these processes first. It’s super, super important.
Do You Have Birthday Campaigns?
Now, one really important thing that’s super easy to do is a birthday campaign. Every single year, think about what follow-up you can put in place that happens automatically to reward someone for their birthday.
Could it just be – last week we were talking about Bonjoro – could it just be you send them a personal video saying, “Hey, I noticed it’s your birthday. I hope you’re really having a great day, and happy birthday.” It could be as simple as that.
It could be 25% off your next visit.
It could be promoting some sort of package, like if you’re an osteo, it might be osteo and myotherapy together in a package to fix whatever they’ve got going on.
You could send them a little voucher for their birthday or 25% off, or something like that. It’s a simple thing you can do to make one of your customers feel good and think about you the next time they’ve got a sore neck, need their skin checked, or are feeling a bit upset in their gut, depending on where you are in adult allied health.
It’s super, super important to make sure that we are rewarding people for those things on their birthday, and give them some connection, a reason to think of us.
There are so many things we can be doing. Don’t spend too much money on marketing until you’re doing all of them, or some of them at the very least, so you can start getting some returns from this as well. Long-term returns rather than short-term.
